The Victoria Truth Centre supports organizations that help: young people and families in need; providing healthy lifestyle support such as food, healthy living, and/or shelter. The VTC supports helping develop future leaders, guided by Rev. Emma Smiley’s positive thinking motto of “Living Life Lovingly,” building self esteem, inspiring productive lifestyles, and helping others to contribute to their community.

Soroptomist International West Shore
programs to boost the self esteem of young women, meals to seniors living on own
Soroptomist International West Shore – Anney’s Closet
providing young people with household items & furniture, to make apartment into comfortable home
Emma’s Acres
Farm in Mission, BC, helping inmates, Restorative/Trans-formative Justice Program, money raised from produce sales goes to counselling for victim’s families
Nourish Cowichan
breakfast program for children in Cowichan area
Shelbourne Community Kitchen
providing food, community gardens, meals, support for local families
Extreme Outreach Society for Youth
summer camps plus youth job training, Christmas Stockings, visit their coffee shop / office at #102 – 284 Helmcken Rd, at Old Island Highway

Residential Program for Men, a place where they can get off the streets & begin life anew
